LIBRAE BAKERY
GOOD IN BREAD

A LABOR OF LOVE FROM EVERY CORNER TO EVERY LAYER OF CROISSANT

Meet Librae Bakery, a “third culture” bakery created by Dona Murad Gerschel. The bakery, which was dubbed New York City’s first Bahraini-owned bakery, is known for their Middle East-inspired flavors, which constitute the many distinct tastes that are now signature to their selection, as well as the Danish technique that shows skillfully with every piece.

Librae takes pride in being the first ever Bahraini inspired bakery in one of the most energizing cities in the world. Located at 35 Cooper Sq in the East Village, Librae is a Third Culture Bakery influenced by flavors from the Middle East using fermentation techniques from Copenhagen.

One of their bestsellers, the Pistachio Rose Croissant, is an absolute fan favorite—not only does it look incredibly camera-worthy, but it’s also true to its promise of taking your tastebuds to a whole ‘nother level.
